Kendriya Vidyalaya Vigyan Vihar, under the patronage of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan has been marching a head on the path penned by the broader objectives of KVS. Established in 1984, kV Vigyan Vihar Has progressed leaps and bounds from its inception.

Education is an ongoing process where attitude is as important as aptitude. Education is all about inculcating the right attitude towards learning. A vision of our Hon'ble commissioner Sri Avinash Dikshit IDAS, Channelised by the Assistant Commissioner Sri V. K. Srivastava and being executed by principal Sri M. L. Agrawal with the Co-operation of the staff and hard work of the students has taken the school to great heights

KV Vigyan Vihar with strength of 3179 students runs in two shifts.

In the I shifts it is a four-section school from class I to XII and offers three streams - science, Commerce and Humanities in XI and XII ,

In the II shifts, it is a four section school offering science , commerce andHumanities.

School has celebrated its Annual Day on Dec 2oth 2011 with  many Cultural programmes. The function was started with Ganesh Stuti  & Maa Saraswati Vandana which was delecatly performed by  the students of the School, followed by many types of dance performances like Rock n Roll, Classical, Spanish. A skit was performed by the students of Primary Section of First shift on the leaders who faught for our country followed by another skit on Child Labour by the students of Primary section of Second shift.

Annual Report of School was also presented by Pricipal Mr. M L Agrawal.

 

First Shift :

Parents Teacher's Meeting to be held on Dec 9, 2011(Friday) for class XI & XII. Students are required to report in school with their Parents in School Dress in between 8:15 to 10:00 AM.

 

CHILDREN’S DAY  CELEBRATION IN KV VIGYAN VIHAR.-II Shift

In order to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Children’s day was celebrated in KV, NFC, Vigyan Vihar –II Shift with great enthusiasm & joy .

As we are aware that education process has gone through drastic change & the process has become child centric.

The principal of the Vidyalaya Mr. M.L Agrawal inaugurated the function. Students presented the dance. It was followed by the skit based on the theme ‘Save Trees’ in order to create awareness speeches on children’s day. The Principal appreciated the efforts of children as the program was organised by themselves. Every day in our school is children’s day he stated on the occasion.

The V.Principal of the Vidyalaya Mrs. Sashi-Prabha Chaudhary lauded the children for their participation and termed the program short sweet. The headmistress Mrs. Poonam Sharma presented the vote of thanks. She asked children to aim high in life & continuously strive to achieve your aim. She thanked the Principal, V. Principal for giving their indispensible time for making this program a grand success. She also thanked all the teachers & Students for their relentless efforts to make this function special one.

Students were distributed the sweets on the occasion. One of the speciality of the program was organisation of community lunch. Students shared the delicious & sweet dishes with each other, which imbibed in them values such as co-operation, unity, sharing & caring.

BIODIVERSITY WORKSHOP{1st Shift}

3 days workshop held in Vidyalaya to "Know Biodiversity of your Vidyalaya" to explore Flora & Fauna of Vidyalaya.

SECOND SHIFT

Congratulations : Kushal of class XI F won First Position in Regional level Science exhibition at K.V. INA Delhi in Agriculture and food Security.

  

"Bharat Raksha Parv" is organised by Dainik Jagran to inculcate the feeling of patriotism & brother hood in Children. Rakhi & Greeting making competition is being organised in II Shift (Primary) and 800 Rakhis and cards were sent to Dainik Jagran. These Rakhis were for the Soldiers. Some girls also attended Rakhi Celebration at Airforce Station, Hindon and tie Rakhis to Soldiers.

 

Delhi - Go-Green Van-Mahotsav  (Date 1.08.2011 to 08.08.2011)

To Show their love for nature and clean environment, children of II Shift (Primary) planted plants in the Vidyalaya and at their homes. Each child adopt prepare slogans & drawings and take out a rally to create awareness among other children and society at large.

 

Training Programme for Master Trainers RTE Act (Date 17.08.2011 to 20.08.2011 )

HM's of both shifts along with four Primary teachers attended this Training Programme at KV, JNU, New Delhi organised by KVS, in collaboration with NCERT.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ICT - PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAM

Subject Teachers of both the shifts are undergoing INTEL@ Teach Essentials Online Course for 8 days from 8 August 2011 - 18 August 2011 in the school computer lab. This course will enable teachers to effectively integrate computer technology & student centered assessments to improve students learning.

    VANMAHOTSAV 2011
    Vanmahotsav is being celebrated in Kendriya Vidyalaya Vigyan Vihar from 1 Aug to 8 Aug. "Each One Plant One"
    First Shift

    Our school has been made a venue for Volleyball (Boys) for Regional Sports Meet from 1 Aug 2011 to 3 Aug 2011.

    Parent Teachers Meeting is going to be held on 6 Aug 2011 from 8 AM to 12 PM.

    Lil Champs Jhanvi of V D & Chavi Soni of IV A participated in Power Point Presentation Competition to celebrate Tagore Mahotsav & thier presentations on the stories written by Sh Tagore were selected at the Regional Level.


         

    GREEN SCHOOL AWARD

    Green School Award 2010 has been awarded to Kendriya Vidyalaya Vigyan Vihar in the field of Enviornment Awareness & Sustainability. This award was confered by Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dixit on 15 July 2011 at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, Delhi-110003.

     

    NATIONAL LEVEL

    Kendriya Vidyalaya Vigyan Vihar has been awarded best participating school by Unified Council of India for the year 2010 confered in 2011 July.

    GREEN SCHOOL AWARD CEREMONY 15th July

    * Divya prakash pandey of class II has  passed exam in craft and design and become the youngest  

       recipient of an Indira Gandhi Open university degree .

    *  KV NFC is organising "SCIENCE WEEK" from 23 Feb 2011  to 1 March 2011.

    *  Prize Distribution Ceremony celebrated on 25 Feb 2011 and prizes for various sports events were distributed from classes VI to XI. Winner trophy was given to KRISHNA House.

    * Admit cards  will be distributed to class XII on 22 Feb 2011 from 10:30 am onwards.

    * KV NFC is going to celebrate " Grand Parent's Day" and Sports Day on 23rd Feb 2011 in PRIMARY SECTION.
     
     
    * Educational trips were organised for all classes on different days in Feb 2011 to " Akshardham" , "Rail Museum"   "Science Museum", "Inderprastha Park"
    *  Workshop organised by NGO Society for Women Agricultural & Rural development on 5 Feb 2011 to aware students about health  hygiene , discipline, meditation and life skills.
      School will remain closed for Winter Break from 24.12.10 till 02.01.2011.School reopens on 3 January 2011.
    * School celebrated Christmas on 23 Dec 2010. Students of Primary section presented  a beautiful programme .
    *  Kendriya Vidyalaya Vigyan Vihar  is on move for Green School Programme  
    *  The school has been selected for participation in Children Science Congress 2010 from Delhi Region which is going to held in Chennai from 27.12.10 to 30.12.10.
    *  Second Preboard will start from 07.01.2011.
    1. Earth Day Celebration (22nd April) 
      Eco  club  [ incharge ] along  with  4  students  Hasada  XB  ,Saumya  XA ,Ayushika XA , Mohit  XA participated  in   International  Earth  day  celebration. 
    At  Chief  Minister’s  Residence  on  occasion  of  Release  of   poster  on  save  environment  ‘’Ministry   of          Environment and  forest’’. One  of  our  student  Ayushika  of  XA  delivered  speech  on  little  efforts  which  can  save  the  environment .  Chief  Minister  released  poster  on  the  occasion .

    Student’s  also  visited  INSA  [ International Science Association ]  on  occasion  of  International  Earth  day  celebration .

    They  participated  in  poster  making  competition on “Climate  and  Environment Change ‘’. Students  here  shown  the  research report presentation  on  latest  environmental  trends .On  the  same  day ,they  went  Kendriya  Vidyalaya  Andrewsganj  to  participate  in  poster  making  competition  .

     Award  was  amouneed  in  Annual  awards  celebrations 2.5.10  at  Hyderabad.

     

     Citation  and  Trophy  was  awarded  to  Kendriya  Vidhyalaya  Vigyan  Vihar.

     

     3. Membership with TOI Members-

     

    *  Workshop conducted by TOI :On study 2010 Mr. Rajesh Narula conducted workshop on public   etiquettes for the member of Times of India.

     *   Magic show was organized by Times of India in Assembly children were thrilled to see the show.

    *    Member of TOI(100) students went to watch the movie 2012 at Regal Canaught place.
